this site is sort of like our "Cook Book", where we share random amateur recipes, from ready-mix pancakes (Coles) to the exquisite "Ketam Kari".... well, i would say that our menu are mostly dari babu-babu punya... anak-anaknya pandai-pandai me-alterlah... some stuff original pulang :PPP

the idea came about pasal kami ani suka M&M (Masak&Makan) together-gether. hehe... sebenarnya Ms. BB pulang yang masak tu.. the rest suka makan.. :P i think it's fair to say that kami ani masak main antam ganya... :P huhu... and btw, anything eatable is postable!!

"Tom Yam Soup"

i'm so bored today, so might as well post many recipes on OTP. hehe. so here is one of my all time favourite dish. tom yam soup! i like it more when it's hot and spicy. *drool* oh yea, ramadhan and thus syawal are approaching, so expect more biscuit and cake recipes to come on OTP. insyaAllah...

Ingredients:

squid
de-shelled prawns

chicken breast in medium chunks

carrot
broccoli

cauliflower

tomatoes

1 diced brown onion*
1 inch diced ginger*

5 diced garlic*

1/2 tablespoon blended red chilli*

3 lemon grass

2-3 hot chillies
3 lime leaves (optional)

2-4 tom yam stock cubes or paste*
water

oil
salt msg
*the quantity is up to you. usually i add more especially the tom yam cubes and brown onion


Method:
cut the squids according to your liking, and marinade with a little salt and turmeric powder. stir-fry them and keep it aside for later. firs fry diced brown onion, garlic and ginger with a little oil. then, add in blended red chilli followed by fried squid, prawn and chicken breast. pour in water and then add tom yam cubes or paste, lime leaves, hot chillies, salt and msg to taste. leave it to boil. after the soup is half-boiled, throw in some broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and tomatoes. wait till you satisfy that everything inside the soup is well-cooked.
