Foodword

this site is sort of like our "Cook Book", where we share random amateur recipes, from ready-mix pancakes (Coles) to the exquisite "Ketam Kari".... well, i would say that our menu are mostly dari babu-babu punya... anak-anaknya pandai-pandai me-alterlah... some stuff original pulang :PPP

the idea came about pasal kami ani suka M&M (Masak&Makan) together-gether. hehe... sebenarnya Ms. BB pulang yang masak tu.. the rest suka makan.. :P i think it's fair to say that kami ani masak main antam ganya... :P huhu... and btw, anything eatable is postable!!

"Roasted Herb Potatoes"

tried this recipe about two weeks ago (i think!) but only today, i can find the time to post :P anyway, this time, kirakan resipi from me membuyuklah...haha. i used the ready-made seasoning. it was cheap, so i said to self that i should buy it and have a go cooking it. tell ya, i rarely use ready-made thingie. even if i use them in my cooking, i tend to add more stuffs. nda ku bulat2 pakai atu saja, without tambah2. hehehe. i think it's just me. i guess i don't really trust the ready-made stuffs. hahaha... ijap ku inda nyaman and lain rasanya. but there's this one sauce that i adore very much. i just love it as it is. will tell about it in the next post.

Ingredients:
5 large potatoes
1-2 tablespoon oil

1 sachet McCormick Italian Herb Potatoes Seasoning
shredded cheddar cheese or mozarella cheese
powdered parmesan cheese
parsley flakes
oregano leaves

Method:
peel potatoes and cut into 8 cubes. coat well with reasonable amount of oil. then, coat evenly with the McCormick pack contents. marinade for half an hour. lay them in a single layer on a baking tray. bake for 30-45mins at 200'C or until golden roasted and tender. compliment with cheeses and more herbs like parsley and oregano. on a side note, to keep from baking for a long period of time, boil the potatoes for about 10-15mins first before coating with oil
