Foodword

this site is sort of like our "Cook Book", where we share random amateur recipes, from ready-mix pancakes (Coles) to the exquisite "Ketam Kari".... well, i would say that our menu are mostly dari babu-babu punya... anak-anaknya pandai-pandai me-alterlah... some stuff original pulang :PPP

the idea came about pasal kami ani suka M&M (Masak&Makan) together-gether. hehe... sebenarnya Ms. BB pulang yang masak tu.. the rest suka makan.. :P i think it's fair to say that kami ani masak main antam ganya... :P huhu... and btw, anything eatable is postable!!

"Salmon Ran Oliver Style"

haha.. okay. this is not my recipe. R's punya. haha... ia jadi Iron Chef baik. its simple but pricey because its Salmon. btw people, just want to let you guys know. if you want to buy Olive Oil, try looking at Coles, because at Coles Indro, they sell Bi-Lo Olive Oil 500ml for just 99c. Mr. Ayb would be so proud that we're buying cheap generics! and, people of Aus! Woolies has started selling the halal Colonial Corned Mutton! Woo Rocks!

Ingredients:
Salmon fillet (Fresh)
Masterfoods Garlic & Herb Salt

Olive Oil

Method:
generously, sprinkle Masterfoods Garlic & Herb Salt over both sides of the fillet. pour in a spoon of Olive Oil (probably a spoonful). hehe.. probably because i forgot to ask Iron Chef. mix and spread over the whole fillet. leave for a while (an hour? or more preferably?) heat up a pan, pour in a bit of Olive Oil (don't forget, there's natural oil in fish so you don't want it to be too oily). fry both sides of the sexy fishy. keep in mind that fish meat is fragile.. be careful not to under- or over- cook. if you've managed to cook it well, the skin will taste nice and a bit crispy.

hehe... as i said. this isn't my recipe. it really really tasted good tadi. so, i hope you enjoy :D
