a simple cake to prepare for breakfast or hi-tea or whatever. you can also make it special by turning it into a birthday cake....inda payah rasa, cium bau saja... - "master chef" BB
Ingredients:
200g butter
200g icing sugar
4 eggs
200g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
40g cocoa powder
100g chocolate rice
1/2 teaspoon essence vanilla
a round tray
Method:
using an electric mixer, beat gently butter and icing sugar to combine. add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. next, add plain flour and baking powder. continue mixing until it becomes light. add essence vanilla. mix again. then, add cocoa powder. stir slowly. finally, add chocolate rice. beat until well combined. preheat oven to 200'C. grease tray with butter or baking paper. bake for 60mins at 180'C or else until a fork inserted into a center comes out clean.
Served With:
vanilla ice cream and strawberries (for a romantic candle light dinner :P)
Decorating A Birthday Cake:
melt the milk cooking chocolate bar in a pot and then pour into the baked chocolate cake. pipe ready-made whipped cream cake icing all around the top edge. top the cream up with half cut strawberries and half cut oreo cookies in an alternate manner. finally, fill the empty top centre with chocolate flakes or curls as well as crushed oreo cookies :)
