Foodword

this site is sort of like our "Cook Book", where we share random amateur recipes, from ready-mix pancakes (Coles) to the exquisite "Ketam Kari".... well, i would say that our menu are mostly dari babu-babu punya... anak-anaknya pandai-pandai me-alterlah... some stuff original pulang :PPP

the idea came about pasal kami ani suka M&M (Masak&Makan) together-gether. hehe... sebenarnya Ms. BB pulang yang masak tu.. the rest suka makan.. :P i think it's fair to say that kami ani masak main antam ganya... :P huhu... and btw, anything eatable is postable!!

"Lamb Chop Marinade"

different people have different ways/ingredients of marinating lamb chops. however, this is my style... and oh btw, i'm expecting others to contribute their styles as well. mine only takes about 3-5 minutes to prepare. so give it a try, i bet you will like it :ppp *drool*

...inda payah rasa, cium bau saja... - "master chef" BB

Ingredients:
finely blended shallots, garlic, ginger
blended red chilli
butter
ABC sweet soy sauce
Lee Kum Kee osyter sauce
Masterfoods BBQ sauce
Masterfoods parsley flakes
Masterfoods oregano leaves
McCormick season-all spicy
Masterfoods african seasoning (optional)
salt to taste
msg to taste
lamb chops

Method:
note: do not heat the butter, just take a tablespoon (for 2 piece of lambchop) of butter. not too much, otherwise your lamb chops will be too oily later when cooked. it's added to give an extra taste and to avoid spreading some oil later. so basically, mix all the marinade ingredients together in a shallow container (with a cover). then finally soak the lambchops well in the marinade. cover the container and refrigerate it for a day (it's not necessary for a day, 3-5 hours would do. but i like it to be soaked for a day for a much stronger taste). you can either grill it, or just oven it at 280'C for 30 minutes or less (it depends on the thickness of the lamb chops and how well done you want the chops to be - rare, medium-rare, medium-well done, well done). note the temperature used depends on your oven at home as well. so, to be on a safe side, starts off with 200'C. do not forget to turn halfway through the cooking. oh yea, as you would notice, i didn't write down the exact quantity for each ingredient because i, myself, don't even measure. i just put whatever amount i want and adjust it according to how many kilos of lamb chops i'm gonna marinade. another important thing is, i use specific brands in my cooking because they are the best. so feel free to choose your favourite brands and modify the ingredients according to your liking.

Served With:
mashed potatoes or fries with salads, sweet chilli sauce, mayonnaise and coke. other alternatives: nasi goreng cina, kuew tiaw goreng, mee hoon goreng.
